eat. drink. paint.

Looking for a fun night out? Come eat, drink and paint with us at Palettes Natick located at 29 Main Street in Natick, MA. No painting experience is needed, REALLY! One of our talented instructors will walk you through the painting step by step while you enjoy a glass of wine, a craft brew or a house infused water, as well as delicious nibbles. Sign up to paint on your own or block out a table with some friends.

Q: What is this all about?!

A: It’s fun, you’ll laugh and have a good time! In one sitting, we’ll teach you how to complete an acrylic painting. No experience or artistic talent necessary, really! Check out the calendar, make a reservation, show up, find your easel, grab a beverage or something to eat, get your paint… and enjoy an evening of casual painting instruction while you relax and listen to some great music!

Q: How do I register?

A: To register for an event, select “Register Now” from menu, choose the event you would like to attend, and click “register”.

Q: I have never painted before!!! Is that OK?

A: YES! The instruction is geared to promote a successful finished piece no matter what your skill level. If you are an experienced painter, you will be free to improvise as much as you want.

Q: If I come with friends or a group, can we all sit together?

A: If you would like to sit with friends, please put their names in the “comment” box located above where you enter your name at the top of the check out page. We will do our best to accommodate you! It is usually not a problem.

Q: Can I come alone?

A: YES! Meet new people or just do your own thing… Palettes is also a great place to come with your friends or a group.

Q: Do you do private events or kids parties?

A: We have many options available for your private party and can accommodate anyone age 8 and over. Ask us about corporate events, bridal showers, family reunions or any other reason for gathering. We know your event will be memorable!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: If you are not able to attend please cancel within 24 hours to avoid losing the class fee. You are welcome to send someone else in your place, please just let us know their name so we can be sure to have them all set up to paint!

Q: What do I wear?

A: We use acrylic paint which is not washable. We provide aprons, but suggest you dress comfortably in clothing that can get a little paint on it.

Q: Can I bring my child with me to paint at night?

A: Any child under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult at Palettes. Please keep in mind that the painting experience at night at Palettes is geared towards adults and sometimes may be inappropriate for kids under the age of 16.

Q: Can I drop off my child at Family Paint?

A: Family Paint is NOT a drop off event but is offered as a time for kids, moms, dads, grandparents, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors to create art together.

Q: Can I BYOB? What about food?

A: Sorry, local regulations prohibit BYOB. Please enjoy from our carefully selected menu of healthy food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: The time listed on the calendar for each event allows for 30 minutes to check in and get settled (example: a 6:30pm event time means the painting begins at 7:00pm). Arriving early gives you ample time to find your seat, grab a bite or a bottle, and settle in.

Q: What is included in the price?

A: Paint, canvas, brushes, aprons, instruction, a great atmosphere and a whole lot of fun!

Q: Should I tip?

A: Tipping is very much appreciated by the artist and bartender, but not required. Thank you!

Q: Can I bring my own supplies?

A: You are welcome to bring your own supplies as long as they are water based. The charge is $35 for your seat regardless of what you bring.

Q: What if I just want to have some drinks, and not paint?

A: YES! You are welcome to watch from our “Window to Natick Cafe” seating area where we have comfy chairs perfect for viewing the class or just chatting it up with your friends.

Q: Where do I park?

A: Parking is available in public spaces all around town. Meters do not require money after 5pm and on weekends. There is a public parking lot on Middlesex Ave between Spring Street and Main Street with easy access to our back door entrance.

If you are coming in a group please consider carpooling, it is better for the environment and part of the fun!
